2010 - 5th Annual SewBatik Fabric Challenge

Contest Rules: 1. NEW this year, quilting may be executed on any type of machine, with or without a track system. The piece must be machine not hand quilted. 2. The quilt should measure 30” wide by 30” long or smaller. 3. A recognizable amount of the challenge fabric by SewBatik® must be used as an integral part of the entry, and must appear on the front of the quilt. 4. Embellishments will be accepted. 5. Follow the instructions and complete an entry form using the regular quilt entry form available on the IMQA website, www.imqa.org in December 2009. There is no entry fee for the fabric challenge. Your entry form must be received by Bonnie Bosma, MQS Quilt Entry, PO Box 0446, Oronoco, MN 55960-0446 no later than March 19, 2010. 6. Judging emphasizes originality and creative use of the challenge fabric as it relates to other fabrics, visual impact, and workmanship. 7. Prizes will be awarded at the MQS® 2010 Awards Celebration. Entries will be included in a special exhibit at the 14th Annual MQS®, May 12-15, 2010.
