The International Machine Quilters Association (IMQA) is
an organization of longarm and shortarm machine quilters worldwide. The
goal of IMQA is to further the professional development of machine
quilters and the profession of machine quilting as well as the
development of machine quilters in the private sector. Machine quilting
is defined as quilting done using a hand-guided or computer-guided
machine operated by the use of a track system or via a suspended frame
(not a hand-held frame). IMQA provides a network of support and
information to members, information to the general public and also
provides assistance and guidance to other organizations concerning the
machine quilting industry. Membership in IMQA includes the informative
longarm quilter's magazine ON TRACK! 4 (four) times a year, optional
business listing on the IMQA web site, discounted quilt entry fees for
Machine Quilters Showcase (MQS®),
discount cards for supply purchases and regional group support.
Regular members
are individuals who are eligible
for officer and director positions and appointments to committees.
Corporate members
are companies willing
to show support of IMQA. Corporate members are offered discounted
advertising rates in On Track!, have their businesses listed on the
organizations web site with links to their sites, in On Track! magazine
and in the MQS®
show program.
Memberships will expire on June 30 th
each year. Dues shall be
as follows and shall be payable annually on or before July 1st
each year (prorated
quarterly). Regular Memberships: $36 US, $40 Canada, $48 Other
international USD
Two year renewal discount: $68 US, $76 Canada, $92 Other international
USD
Corporate Memberships: $125 USD
